Sound Absorption in Liquid Acetic Acid in the Frequency Range Between 0.3 to 1.5 GHz

Abstract

Abstract The sound absorption of liquid acetic acid has been measured in the frequency range between 0.3 to 1.5 GHz. In this frequency range a relaxation step has been found with a relaxation frequency of about 700 MHz. The molecular processes which possibly cause the measured acoustical relaxation are discussed.
