Novel Morphological Findings of Human Sperm Removal by Leukocytes in <i>In Vivo</i> and <i>In Vitro</i> Conditions: Preliminary Study

Abstract

Our morphological data suggest that human germ cells activate leukocytes triggering both traditional phagocytosis and a novel trapping mechanism, followed by extensive sperm elimination.
