Sebaceous carcinoma arising in a benign dermoid cyst of the ovary

Abstract

Sebaceous carcinoma in a ovarian dermoid cyst is a rare entity. The present patient has survived 54 months and has no evidence of recurrence after total abdominal hysterectomy, bilateral salpingoophorectomy and adjuvant chemotherapy with cisplatin, vinblastin, and bleomycin.
