Abstract Cementation Factor is the most important parameter of water saturation calculations in Archie Formula. In fact the amount of this parameter defines the magnitude of pore volume in water saturation calculations. Cementation factor is not a constant value, but it largely varies according to many parameters in a field peculiar to reservoir characteristics. In addition accurate cementation factor "m" will effect on molecular diffusion coefficient in porous media in gas injection project. The most practical and reliable value of this parameter can be extracted from core analyses. In this new method, the attempt is to approach to a method of achieving variable m using the most effective reservoir parameters for any arbitrary interval of reservoir.
