Perforated peptic ulcer: use of pre‐admission oral glucocorticoids and 30‐day mortality

Abstract

Pre-admission use of oral glucocorticoids is associated with up to a twofold increase in 30-day mortality among patients hospitalized with perforated peptic ulcer.
