The absorption spectrum of carbon disulfide has been photographed at high resolution in the 95–112 nm spectral range. Four series consisting of six vibrational series converging to à 2 Π 3/2 and à 2 Π 1/2 states of CS 2 + have been investigated. Quantum defects of these, and of other known series, are discussed.
