Periarteritis nodosa is a difficult diagnosis without positive muscular biopsy findings. Angiographic demonstrations of multiple small intra-parenchymal aneurysms of uniform or varying size on the medium and small calibre renal arteries is almost pathognomonic of the disease. Two histologically confirmed cases with widespread lesions are reported.
