The authors describe the angiographic findings in a case of polyarteritis nodosa with numerous and extensive aneurysms involving branches of the renal, hepatic, splenic, mesenteric, lumbar, intercostal, inferior phrenic, and hypogastric arteries. The abdominal aorta and main renal, hepatic, and splenic arteries were grossly uninvolved. The authors suggest that angiography be employed more frequently in the diagnosis of polyarteritis nodosa.
