Abstract

Abstract The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra of Mn 2+ and VO 2+ impurities in K 2 C 2 O 4 · H 2 O are analysed in X‐band at 298 K. The ions do not appear to enter the lattice as substitutional impurites. The double separation of forbidden hyperfine transitions (Δ m = ± 1) are studied in Mn 2+ doped crystals. It is found that the different parts of the single crystals are characterized by different intensity ratios of two magnetically inequivalent complexes. This behaviour is prominent in VO 2+ doped crystals.
