The absolute photoionization cross section of potassium is reported from the 3p ionization limit at 50 nm down to 32 nm. Measurements on the shapes of the autoionizing resonances at 65.3 and 66.2 nm are also described. Comparisons are made with existing experimental results and recent calculations of potassium photoionization cross sections.
