Influences of Cylert Upon Memory Changes with ECT

Abstract

The authors report a preliminary study of the effects of Cylert (an equimolar compound of pemoline and magnesium hydroxide) on post-ECT learning and memory. The results appear encouraging, but further study is needed before the compound's clinical value can be proved conclusively.
