Surface plasmon resonance and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) methods were combined with the dye-labeled technique for monitoring the bioidentification of Atto610-biotin/avidin. A sandwich structure via assembling silver nanoparticles on the biotin/avidin-modified silver film was built, which improved the SERS signal by as many as 6 times.
