Hyperfine structure analysis odd configurations levels in neutral lanthanum: I. Experimental

Abstract

Within this work measurements of the hyperfine structure constants for more than 100 electron levels belonging to the odd configurations of the lanthanum atom have been performed with the method of laser induced fluorescence in a hollow cathode discharge. Almost half of these levels have not been investigated before. The results have been obtained from the analysis of several hundreds of spectral lines.
