Abstract Fe 2 C 19 N 2 O 7 H 10 , product of the reaction between Fe 3 (CO) 12 and C 6 H 5 NCO, crystallizes in the space group P2 i/c with four molecules in a unit cell of dimensions a = 8.54, b = 13.25, c = 19.49 Å, β = 106.6°. The crystal structure has been determined by three‐dimensional X‐ray diffraction methods (Weissenberg photographs, symbolic addition procedure, electron‐density maps, least‐squares refinement). The molecule is formed by association between C 6 H 5 ‐N‐C(O)‐N‐C 6 H 5 and (OC) 3 Fe‐Fe(CO) 3 : each N atom of the first part is linked to the two Fe atoms of the second.
