In an infant with hypo‐γ‐globulinaemia and severe lymphocytopenia thymus transplantation induced formation of a monoclonal γ G‐globulin and a monoclonal γ M‐globulin. The patient and his parents were Gm(‐l), whereas the monoclonal γ G‐ globulin was Gm(l). The father of the thymus donor was Gm(l). We concluded that the monoclonal γ G‐globulin was synthesized by cells originating from the thymus graft.
