Novel gold‐dithiol nano‐networks with non‐metallic electronic properties

Abstract

Stable nanostructured networks of quantum‐sized particles have been prepared “see Figure” using self‐assembly techniques. Here, two new techniques are reported for the preparation of non‐metallic composite materials comprising nanometersized gold particles self assembled into a 3‐D network by means of organic dithiols magnified image .
