Prognostic value of various morphometric measurements of tumour extent in prostate needle core tissue

Abstract

This study confirms the prognostic value of recording tumour extent in prostatic needle biopsy reporting. However, the results are inconclusive in determining the best method to record tumour length in cores with DFC and larger studies are needed to answer this question fully.
