An analysis is made of the influence of aperture effects, divergence and nonmonochromaticity of the pump radiation, and self-interaction processes on the degree of compensation of the phase distortions in degenerate four-frequency interaction. Experimental attainment of wavefront reconstruction with a conversion efficiency of 10–3 is reported. The resolution of 30 lines/mm achieved is in good agreement with the theoretical estimate.
