A case of acute leukemia with very marked megakaryocytic predominance is reported. Cytologic, cytochemical, electron microscopic, and platelet function studies are described. The most striking finding is abnormal accumulation of glycogen in the platelets and in megakaryocytes and their precursors. The relationship to other forms of acute leukemia is discussed.
