Abstract

The dielectric behaviour of 89% deuterated KDP was investigated in the microwave range up to 10 GHz. The ferroelectric dispersion, which comes down to below 4 GHz at Tc, can be described by the monodispersive Debye formula as well in the paraelectric as in the ferroelectric region. Concerning the quantitative behaviour of the polarization relaxation rate, there is a good agreement with the data from the light scattering experiments of Reese, Fritz and Cummins.
