Acquisitions and Joint Ventures ‐ Similar Arrows in the Strategic Quiver

Abstract

Are joint ventures a way of avoiding the problems of merger or acquisition? The authors of this paper argue that the similarities between the two are more striking than the differences. They demonstrate the point by surveying the published literature on both.
