The spectrographic method of observing Rydberg series has been used to investigate higher ionization potentials of NO2. The most significant result was the determination of a new ionization potential at 18.87 ev. Four Rydberg series which converged to this limit were identified. Other ionization potentials at 11.62 and 12.3 ev are discussed. No evidence was obtained which would indicate the existence of an ionization potential at 13.98 ev reported by others, nor was there any indication of an ionization potential at 17.5 ev, which is predicted theoretically.
