AbstractWhen males and females in Sydney were asked to identify their ideal female body and the one they believed men and women in general would prefer, women were found to be misinformed about the size of the female body that men prefer, while the men knew the women's preferred size. Furthermore, women consistently evaluated their own body more negatively than their ideal or preferred body.
