Information regarding relative frequency, the clinical features and course, the exact relationship to the colonic lesion, the incidence of cirrhosis and portal hypertension, and the relationship of this disease to biliary cirrhosis is not available in the literature. This is in part due to the small number of documented cases and the absence of long-term studies with sequential liver biopsies. In this study patients with ulcerative colitis in whom pericholangitis was...References1.
