Transformation of<i>Mycobacterium aurum</i>by electroporation: the use of glycine, lysozyme and isonicotinic acid hydrazide in enhancing transformation efficiency

Abstract

A transformation procedure for Myobacterium aurum using electroporation was developed and optimized. Effects of glycine and lysozyme treatments were studied, and isonicotinic acid hydrazide was shown to increase transformation efficiency ten-fold.
