Abstract

DRD2 polymorphisms are detectable from DNA obtained from stored blood spots. The -ins allele is more common in control and unmedicated drug-exposed infants. Further study is recommended to explore postneonatal outcomes especially in relation to neuropsychiatric behaviours.
