Abstract

Induction immunosuppression improved graft and patient outcome for most organ transplants. Depleting agents (alemtuzumab and rATG)--especially in combination with steroids--seem to be more efficient in preventing renal graft failure than nondepleting agents (basiliximab and daclizumab).
