Impact of Weight Reduction on Early Carotid Atherosclerosis in Obese Premenopausal Women

Abstract

Obese premenopausal women had greater IMT than did age-matched lean controls. It seems that this early atherosclerotic changes may be reversed by normalization of body weight.
