Managing change is the process of becoming different. It is an ever-present and routine part of organizational life, especially in public sector services (Walshe and Smith, 2007). ′New′ public sector policies, announced by Government, are planned over the next 12 months. Critics, including nurses, suggest these are old policies repackaged.
