A pulsed electron-nuclear coherence-transfer scheme is presented which allows the indirect observation of sublevel splittings by a Fourier-transform technique. The sensitivity of this method is larger than that of conventional techniques and exceeds the resolution of standard pulse techniques. The method is demonstrated for an electron-proton coupled system.
