IEEE standard inverse-time characteristic equations for overcurrent relays

Abstract

This paper introduces the new standard "IEEE standard inverse-time characteristic equations for overcurrent relays". It provides an analytic representation of typical electromechanical relays operating characteristic curve shapes in order to facilitate coordination when using microprocessor-type relays.
