Norton Equivalent Circuits

Norton Equivalent Circuits is a circuit model that belongs to the class of equivalent network representations and is distinguished by its characterization of any linear, time-invariant, two-terminal network as a single current source in parallel with a single impedance, where the current source equals the short-circuit current at the terminals and the impedance equals the equivalent resistance seen from the terminals with all independent sources deactivated.
