33.2: Large Size full‐color eReader Displays Based on Electrowetting

Abstract

Abstract In this paper we present full‐color reflective electrowetting displays with diagonals larger than 6“. We discuss the manufacturing process of these displays and demonstrate its scalability to large area substrates and therefore still larger displays. In addition, we discuss the compatibility of the process with existing LCD manufacturing facilities.
