Introduction to this Special Issue on Sensemaking

Abstract

As sensemaking systems have emerged, so too has an interest in the psychological aspects of the psychological and social processes involved in interacting with such systems (Klein, Moon, & Hoffman, 2006a, 2006b;Pirolli & Card, 2005).At the moment, there seems to be three substantially different perspectives on the sensemaking idea.
