Abstract

The beam-foil technique is used to measure radiative lifetimes for transitions due to oxygen ions. From these values are calculated transition probabilities for seventeen 0 ii lines found in the spectra of B-type stars and for eight 0111 lines found in the spectra of 0-type and WoIf-Rayet stars, all lying in the range A. The data are compared with other recent experimental and theoretical values.
