The (Ne + H2) plasma in a hollow cathode glow discharge has been investigated. A theoretical description of (Ne + H2) plasma has been made by considering the main elementary processes including the vibrational kinetics. Based on the results obtained from the model an emission method has been developed for H- concentration measurement. The results obtained by this emission method are compared with those obtained by the photodetachment method.
