Abstract The He(I) photoelectron (PE) spectra of bis(2,4,6-tri-t-butylphenyl)diphosphene and mesityl(2,4,6-tri-t-butylphenyl)diphosphene are reported. An interpretation based on semiempirical calculations and comparison with other data is suggested.
