Abstract This study focuses on undergraduate students’ place attachment, proactive coping and well-being. Participants in this study were 450 students, 150 from a French university, 150 from a Romanian private university, and 150 from a Romanian public university (first and second year of studies), 296 female and 154 male, aged 17 to 30 years, M= 20,39, SD = 2,76. In order to collect the data, 4 self rating questionnaires were used. The results of the study can contribute to the design of necessary intervention programs aiming to develop university students’ attachment to the places in which they learn.
