Correction of diffraction errors in acoustic-surface-wave pulse-compression filters

Abstract

A synthesis procedure has been developed which allows for the correction of diffraction errors in the design of acoustic-surface-wave pulse-compression and expansion filters. The method is described and results are presented on the improvement in performance of a particular filter after allowance for diffraction errors.
