SCAling

Abstract

This paper proposes SCAling, a platform and an approach driven by Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Cloud auto-scaling. Simulation experiments indicate that our model successfully keeps the best trade-off between SaaS provider profit and customer satisfaction without requiring predefined scaling rules such as in Amazon Auto-Scaling.
