This paper demonstrates an active suspension system for vehicles using fuzzy logic controls. The model is described by a linear system with five degrees of freedom. Road roughness height is modeled as a filtered white noise stochastic process. Based on control theory, the fuzzy control system of the active suspension is proposed. By using the Matlab/simulink software, the simulation model is obtained. Simulation results indicate that the proposed active suspension system proves to be effective in the vibration isolation of the suspension system. A mechanical dynamic animation of five-degree-of -freedom half-body of vehicle suspension system is obtained, using software Adams and media player.
