Vibration Isolation

Vibration Isolation is a vibration-control technique in structural dynamics that reduces the transmission of vibratory energy from a source to a protected structure or component by interposing passive, active, or semi-active elements that modify the system’s effective stiffness and damping so as to attenuate motion within specified frequency ranges.
