The intensities for the first and second overtones of CO and NO have been measured using the Wilson—Wells—Penner—Weber self-broadening technique. The reported values are ACO2,0=2.15±0.10, ACO3,0=0.0127±0.0013, ANO2,0=2.11±0.10, and ANO3,0=0.0458±0.0046 in units of cm−1/cm·atm at 273°K. The results have been interpreted using an anharmonic-oscillator model to obtain alternate sets of dipole-moment coefficients.
