Improved Reciprocal Grafting Technique for Soybeans (<i>Glycine max</i> L.)¹

Abstract

Abstract A technique for reciprocal root‐scion grafting of soybeans is described using plastic straws and small rubber bands in place of pressure tape commonly employed. The technique described is simpler and faster than the pressure‐tape method of grafting; success of greater than 90% was obtained in our experiments.
