A Midurethral Sling to Reduce Incontinence after Vaginal Prolapse Repair

Abstract

A prophylactic midurethral sling inserted during vaginal prolapse surgery resulted in a lower rate of urinary incontinence at 3 and 12 months but higher rates of adverse events.
