He has written widely on educational policy, the sociology of education, and ethnographic methods and is author of The Micropolitics of the School(Routledge 1987) and Education Politics and Policymaking(Routledge 1990). He is editor of the Journal of Education Policy. Richard Bowe Richard Boweis a Research Fellow at the Centre for Educational Studies, King's College, University of London. He has published in the area of school examinations and is coauthor of The TVEI Story: Policy, Practice and Preparation for the Workforce(Open University Press 1990).
