Using poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene)–poly (styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT–PSS) as the transparent electrode material, all‐polymer‐based electrochromic devices (ECDs) have been constructed from only organic and polymeric components. In the picture shown, an absorption/transmissive‐type ECD maintained in its colored state is bent to demonstrate its flexibility.
