Abstract

Abstract Acetylenic ethers of the types RCH 2 CCCH 2 OR′ and RCH 2 CH 2 CCOR′ have been converted into alkenynylides RCHCHCCNa and alkoxides R′ONa by treatment with two moles of sodamide in liquid ammonia.
