Mean Lives in Singly Ionized Potassium by the Beam-Foil Technique

Abstract

The life times of nine of the ten 3 p 5 4 p levels in KII have been measured using the beam-foil technique. The values are compared with those of the same levels in ArI. Two each of the 3 p 5 4 d and 3 p 5 5 s levels in KII were also measured.
