Abstract

Abstract The rapid, efficient electron beam‐induced cationic polymerization of multifunctional epoxy monomers has been carried out in the presence of diaryliodonium and triarylsulfonium salts. These polymerizations take place at low doses (1–3 Mrad), which make them attractive for commercial applications. The factors that contribute to the high reactivity of these monomers are discussed.
